July Subsidized Retreat for Patients with Financial Need

The program is half as long as our usual inpatient retreats and the cost is only $1200 (25% of the usual cost) or less. This fee covers housing, meals, doctor's visits, basic anthroposophic remedies, group therapies, and patient education. This fee is subsidized by donations and additional financial aid is also available for those who qualify. Due to the service nature of the Support Retreat, patients need to qualify financially, must be ambulatory, and able to tolerate ovo-lacto vegetarian meals containing gluten.In order to make this program happen, we did a lot of fundraising, and selected 10 young adults out of many applicants to assist our usual staff during this time. These young adults are students who are interested in anthroposophical medicine, nursing and therapies and will be attending our Medical Youth Conference prior to the Support Retreat. They are immensely excited to be assisting in an anthroposophic inpatient setting.Please spread the word about this rare opportunity, and help us find people who can benefit from the program!
